Andreas K. Hohl - BIO
|Who's shooting who?|
Andreas' knowledge and expertise are predominantly in the marketing and support of the tech/IT sector. Having been in this arena since before the first PC came off the line at IBM in the early eighties, Andreas has always been effective in developing marketing and sales tactics for new products related to the tech sector.
For many years he was able to take the most complex concepts, convert them to "apples and oranges" and hence was able by doing so to retain several fortune 100 clients as one of their expert suppliers of goods. Companies such as the frozen food division of Kraft/Philip Morris (90's), General Electric Sales Division (80's-90's) and several software companies relied not only on his expertise, but also his negotiating skills during large purchases from various manufacturers.
One of the advantages Andreas has always had was being able to predict future curves and events related to the next generation in respect to software and hardware technologies. As of today he still runs and manages a small Internet service provider (ISP) facility primarily for specialized business class hosting. He was one of the first software developers in the early days if the Internet to create a web based data management system for clients, which today would be known as CMS (content management systems).
His driving force was a simple need for clients to be able to immediately update their information in "real-time" across the net as events were occurring. One of the first sectors to implement this concept was sports and sports marketing. Specifically NASCAR affiliated companies that wished to report race status in real time across the Internet while also advertising product.
Having survived the known "dot com" era, and still somewhat involved even today, he now focuses on his new services that involve cost effective production services for the purpose of not only television, but also "viral" marketing on the net. Leveraging his knowledge of marketing and understanding the tools such as "social networking" he has introduced this effective methodology to several clients.
Andreas believes strongly in keeping processes and procedures simple so as to easily replicate them for growth of any kind. He applies this simple rule to everything he does. In many cases it allowed for him and his businesses to stay ahead of the expected business curves and potential pitfalls. Andreas also has a master's degree equivalent (Swiss Federal Diploma) in mechanical engineering which he acquired during a 4 year program in Switzerland under the roof of Brown Boveri & Co. (now ABB). For more information about Andreas' latest projects and events, please visit www.vadervideo.com (a service of Intuitivethot - his "humble" little enterprise.)
