When being a professional, one needs to walk a fine line so as to not look like a "vanity beast". It's perfectly fine to present oneself, but when doing so, focus on the specialty. Simply put, marketing has never been easy for individual professionals without coming across as self-centered or vein. But there is a method to the madness that does allow one to "strut their stuff" yet still come across as compassionate and humble. The public seems to really appreciate that approach.
